About the Journal

Humaniora: Journal of Indonesian Culture and Society (Humaniora JICAS) is a biannual journal, published in April and November. Established in 2010, Humaniora JICAS focuses on Indonesian culture and society, with a strong commitment to academic integrity and global collaboration. It particularly focuses on the study of visual culture, cultural psychology, communication studies, media studies, cultural studies, cinema, and tourism related to Indonesia and beyond. Our journal is managed by the Research and Technology Transfer of Universitas Bina Nusantara.

Humaniora JICAS has been accredited by DIKTI under the decree number 158/E/KPT/2021 and indexed by Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), ASEAN Citation Index (ACI), Science and Technology Index 2 (SINTA 2), Garda Rujukan Digital (Garuda), Indonesia OneSearch, Open Academic Journals Index (OAJI), Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE), Google Scholar, and Indonesian Research Repository (Neliti).

There is an article-processing charge for all accepted papers, and it will be freely available to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage. The article processing charge is Rp. 2.000.000,00 and the author will receive a complimentary hard copy of our journal. Free of charge for international authors.
