Post-Publication Review

IJVCDC acknowledges that scholarly communication is an ongoing process and supports post-publication dialogue to enhance the quality, accuracy, and reliability of published research. Post-publication review serves as a mechanism for identifying and correcting errors, responding to ethical concerns, or updating findings as necessary.

1. Purpose of Post-Publication Review
Post-publication review allows readers, researchers, or other stakeholders to raise concerns or provide feedback regarding the content of a published article. This may include:

  • Reporting factual errors or inconsistencies

  • Raising ethical concerns (e.g., plagiarism, duplicate publication, authorship disputes)

  • Presenting additional interpretations or critiques of the published findings

2. How to Submit a Post-Publication Comment
Readers may submit post-publication comments or concerns by contacting the editorial office via the journal's official email. The correspondence should include:

  • A clear reference to the article in question

  • A detailed description of the issue or concern

  • Supporting evidence or citations (if applicable)

  • Contact information for follow-up

3. Editorial Response and Investigation
The editorial team will review all submitted comments or concerns and may:

  • Contact the authors for clarification or a response

  • Consult with independent experts if necessary

  • Initiate a formal investigation in line with COPE guidelines

If warranted, the journal may publish an editorial notice, correction, expression of concern, or retraction. All decisions will be made transparently and communicated clearly to all parties involved.

4. Author Right of Reply
Authors will be given an opportunity to respond to any substantive post-publication critiques. Their responses may be published alongside the original concern or correction if relevant.

5. Transparency and Integrity
All post-publication reviews and resulting actions will be documented and published as appropriate to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

IJVCDC is committed to upholding academic rigor and integrity throughout the entire publication lifecycle, including after publication, in accordance with COPE principles.
