Journal Management Ethics Statement

IJVCDC is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of journal management, including the publication process, peer review, and interactions with authors, reviewers, and readers. This statement aims to ensure that all parties involved in managing the journal adhere to the principles of academic integrity and professionalism.

1. Responsibilities of Editors and the Editorial Team

  • Ensure a fair, transparent, and unbiased editorial process, free from discrimination based on the author’s affiliation, race, gender, or beliefs.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.

  • Refrain from misusing unpublished information for personal gain.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest in making editorial decisions.

  • Base publication decisions solely on the manuscript’s scientific quality, its relevance to the journal’s scope, and its contribution to the field of knowledge.

2. Responsibilities of Reviewers (Peer Reviewers)

  • Provide objective, honest, constructive, and timely reviews.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and not disclose any information obtained during the review process.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest that could affect the objectivity of their assessments.

  • Report to the editor if any plagiarism, data fabrication, or other ethical violations are suspected.

3. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Ensure that the submitted work is original and has not been previously published elsewhere.

  • Appropriately acknowledge the contributions of others through proper citation.

  • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and data falsification.

  • Include only individuals who have made significant contributions as authors, and do not list those who did not contribute.

  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the research or publication.

4. Responsibilities of the Publisher (Journal Managing Institution)

  • Support editors and the editorial team in implementing ethical and professional editorial practices.

  • Provide adequate resources and infrastructure to ensure the quality and sustainability of journal publication.

  • Take appropriate action in response to ethical violations, including issuing corrections, retractions, or sanctions.
