With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Dra. Endang Ernawati, M. Lib., our beloved Editor-in-Chief of Humaniora, who passed away on May, 3rd 2025.

Dra. Ernawati has been at the heart of Humaniora Journal since its inception, dedicating over 15 years of unwavering commitment and scholarly excellence to the journal. Her leadership, vision, and tireless work shape Humaniora Journal into the respected publication today.

Her passing is a profound loss to the academic community and to all of us who have the privilege of working with her. She will be deeply missed, not only as a distinguished editor and scholar but also as a mentor, colleague, and friend.
